welfare state

 Welfare state mean that according to Oxford dictionary (nd) "A system whereby the state undertakes to protect the health and well-being of its citizens, especially those in financial or social need"



Welfare state benefits in the UK?

Welfare state provide for the citizen many benefits to help them in their life.Benefits include all the ages. Also welfare state provide care for the elderly and retired. Moreover, there are other benefits according to Department Of Social Protection (2013) benefits are include electricity, gas and television licence through the years and this benefits just for people who are 70 and above. As a result, people who are seniors will benefits form this system because maybe they can not pay for the electricity or gas. Also, there are benefits for disability and illness because they need for help more than other. According to Department Of Social Protection (2013) " Disability Allowance is a weekly allowance for people with a disability aged between 16 and 66". 


An example of people who are 70 and above they maybe have mental problems therefore, they are an able to work and get enough money to pay for electricity, gas and their special needs. However, this system is not fair for other citizen who required to pay the bills because they maybe do not have a high salary help them to pay therefore, there should be help for them as well. 
Finally, welfare state providing assistance especially for needy citizen. In addition, there must be justice instead of help some people and ignore other people who want help.
